When Evan and I started playing with the idea of making a clothing line inspired by my artwork, we wanted to be different. I know...graphic tee websites are a dime a dozen. That's why we almost didn't go through with it. For most companies, cost is the bottom line. This often results in mediocre quality products and questionable sourcing. We feel the internet doesn't need another company following this trend.
Our mission at 15 RADS is to give our customers a better product. So, after scouring the internet for a socially and environmentally responsible t-shirt, we stumbled across Royal Apparel a small company in New York who could provide just what we were looking for: American made, soft, high quality shirts manufactured with environmentally responsible options.
About our shirts from Royal Apparel Made in the USA. Support the local economy and fair labor practices when you buy from Royal Apparel. Not only will you be keeping business stateside, but you’ll also receive sizing information you can trust and a faster turnaround on your order. Royal Apparel is a company you can trust to provide you with quality, American made clothing.
Environmentally Friendly Options Organic Cotton Apparel: Made from 100% all-natural, USA grown cotton, chemical-free fibers and low impact dyes. Organic Bamboo/Cotton blends: same as above...and silky smooth :)
Recycled Materials Recycled Plastic is spun into polyester fibers (Rpet) and is then blended with our organic cotton to yield super soft and durable apparel. 50% organic cotton – 50% recycled plastic fiber (Rpet) and 100% comfort with this eco-conscious product. These are the softest 50/50 tees I have ever worn (except for the 30 year old shirts from my vintage tee collection).
About our designs Our t-shirt designs are all my original artwork, gathered and collaged from my extensive collection of early mid-20th century books, magazines, and other publications. I then add content and flourishes of my own, often with a dollop of dark humor.
About me I am a collage artist, photographer, and sculptor with an MFA from the University of Florida.
